Study and Internship in France.

    1. An ordinary passport must contain at least two blank pages.
    2. A long-stay visa form duly filled and signed by the applicant.
    3. 2 identity photos. Please check photograph specifications.
    4. Admission letter issued by a French educational institution bearing the applicant’s name, mandatorily mentioning the duration of the programme, and subjects. Receipt acknowledging the payment of partial or full amount of the fees.
    5. A covering letter elaborating on the relevance of the studies to be undertaken in France to the applicant’s academic or professional goals.
    6. Curriculum vitae.
    7. Copy of latest degree/diploma.
    8. Supporting income documents.

Attestation of financial resources certifying that the student has sufficient means of subsistence for the entire duration of planned stay for a minimum monthly amount of 615 euros.

1.Accommodation proof

It is mandatory to furnish proof of residence for at least the first three months following the applicant’s arrival in France.

  • Residence at an individual’s house:

Affidavit by the hosting person along with a photocopy of their identity document (National Identity Card passport, residence permit in France) any all information pertaining to the hosting conditions (copy of lease, number of rooms, etc.).

  • If the residence is at an educational institution: attestation from the institution;
  • Copy of the receipt issued by Campus France,
    OFII form, with its upper half duly filled in by the applicant.
  • Third country nationals residing in India must furnish supporting documents attesting to the legality and the authorized duration of their residence here.

    1. An ordinary passport must have at least two fresh pages.
    2. Short-stay visa application form duly filled and signed by the applicant.
    3. 2 recent photographs of the applicant. Please check photograph specifications here.
    4. Signed letter of introduction stating purpose of visit from the applicant. If applicable, the letter on the applicant’s home institution/organisation letterhead paper, signed by competent authority.
    5. An internship agreement. If the agreement does not provide for medical cover, the intern must submit a copy of travel medical insurance policy of not less than 30,000 Euros. The policy must cover medical and hospitalization expenses for the entire period of valid stay on Schengen territory as well as repatriation costs.
    1. Copy of confirmed round trip air tickets.
    2. Accommodation proof (lease bearing applicant’s name, dates of stay and accommodation address) or any other document stating that accommodation expenses will be borne or provided (e.g. if accommodation arrangements are included in the internship agreement).
    3. Supporting documents of personal income:
  • copy of bank statements of the last three months
  • copy of Income Tax Department Return + ITR-V acknowledgement of the previous financial year
  • last three salary slips.

For paid interns, living expenses must mandatorily match the growth-indexed minimum wage, i.e. 1343.77 euros as on 1 January 2010.

  1. Third country nationals residing in India and Nepal must furnish supporting documents attesting to the legality and the authorised duration of their residence here.
  2. Photocopies of Schengen, American, British visas issued over the past two years.
  3. Attested copy of the academic certificates.
